Luis Lanz delivered a spectacular performance in round 2 of the USDC Pro Am series, living up to his reputation and thrilling fans once again. Despite facing some car issues that necessitated a 5-minute timeout, Luis and his dedicated team managed to get the car back in perfect shape, allowing him to re-enter the competition.
In the finals, Luis faced off against Fello, a seasoned veteran in the Southeastern drifting scene. After a tough battle, Luis secured an impressive second-place finish. The celebration was electric as Luis and his team took over the track, performing smoky, close-proximity donuts that had the crowd on their feet, cheering wildly.
We caught up with Luis after his podium finish, and he shared his thoughts:
"When you podium a drift competition, you are allowed to do a track takeover. Glad to celebrate with @fello_racing. Working on consistency this weekend was challenging because we had to battle tough competitors and the car. The team was amazing, changing and fixing things within 5 minutes. Without them, we wouldn't have made it. I hope we can have the car 100% for Orlando. We are coming for that #1 spot!"
Luis, we believe in you! We know you can claim that #1 spot—go get them, champ!
A huge thank you to Luis's incredible team for their unwavering support and hard work:
